Project Timeline & Next Steps

The initiative is being implemented in phases, beginning with two pilot projects: Swing About Park, designed for passive recreation and quiet enjoyment, and Strath Court Kayak Park, designed to improve owner access to the lagoon and provide a small waterfront recreation area.

The plans have been refined through community feedback, Working Group review, Board discussion, preliminary Town review, and a competitive bidding process. The selected contractor will now develop the detailed permit plans, respond to Town comments, and the required approval process through to construction completion. The exact construction schedule will be confirmed after permit approval and contractor coordination.
