POCKET PARKS
The proposed Pocket Park initiative is designed to enhance and beautify several underutilized open spaces throughout Palmetto Dunes while creating new opportunities for passive recreation, gathering, and lagoon access. Each concept is intended to complement the natural character of the community through thoughtful landscaping, walking paths, seating areas, resting spots, and small waterfront amenities.
By transforming currently unattractive and inactive areas into attractive neighborhood destinations, the initiative aims to improve quality of life, expand outdoor recreation, and further enhance the beauty and long-term value of Palmetto Dunes.
The Board is seeking community feedback to help finalize the pocket park design for Swing About Park and the Strath Court Kayak Launch Park.
