Project Updates: Dunes House Lane Parking & Mooring Buoy

Dunes House Lane Parking Redevelopment

The Dunes House Lane Parking Redevelopment Project is nearing completion with the major infrastructure work now finalized. The project’s scope includes the reconfiguration and repaving of Dune House Lane to enhance pedestrian safety, facilitate smoother traffic circulation, and reduce congestion for both residents and visitors. Furthermore, it seeks to improve accessibility for emergency vehicles utilizing the Dunes House Lane Parking facilities.

Next Phases of Development:

  • Landscaping: Landscaping enhancements will be starting this week.
  • Additional Retaining Walls: Subsequent to the landscaping, we will proceed with the construction of retaining walls.
  • Bike Racks: Temporary bike racks are being installed, with a transition to permanent racks planned at a later date.

Parking Lot Accessibility:
The Association is pleased to announce the Dunes House Lot Lane Parking is now available for use by owners and guests. The redeveloped area significantly enhances accessibility and convenience for users.

We will continue to provide updates as we progress through the final stages of this project.

Mooring Buoy Redevelopment

The Mooring Buoy Redevelopment Project is advancing. Despite encountering some utility conflicts, our team is diligently working to ensure progress continues. The testing and integration of the watermain will be ongoing throughout this month. Installation of the sidewalk starting at the Sea Lane intersection has begun and will continue progressing North. Our targeted timeline aims to have the asphalt surfacing completed by the last week of March or the first week of April.

Looking ahead, we anticipate substantial completion of the project by April 12. Final project work, including landscaping, addressing any remaining punch list items, and property mitigation will be completed in early April.

We appreciate your patience and support as we work towards enhancing our community’s infrastructure and will continue to keep you informed on our progress.
