Nominating Committee Volunteers Needed 

The PDPOA is currently seeking volunteers to serve on the Nominating Committee in support of the upcoming 2026 Board of Directors candidate elections.The PDPOA Board of Directors established the Nominating Committee (the “Committee”) to support the mission, values, and strategic plan of the organization, as required by Section V of the PDPOA Bylaws.
The Committee’s objectives include:

  • Seeking and nominating qualified Association members who wish to be candidates for election to the PDPOA Board of Directors at the next Annual Membership Meeting
  • Recruiting and nominating qualified members to serve on the standing and Ad Hoc committees established by the Board from time to time, including recommending committee chairs when applicable

As outlined in the Bylaws, the Nominating Committee is required to nominate at least one (1) candidate for each directorship to be filled. If a partial term is being filled, the Committee must designate at least one specific candidate for each partial term.

The Committee shall consist of five (5) Members of the Association: The Committee Chairperson, one other Director, and three (3) non-Directors. Committee members, including the Chairperson, shall serve one-year terms and may serve no more than 2 consecutive terms. Committee members should have general knowledge of Palmetto Dunes and the PDPOA. Current or prior committee and/or Board experience preferred.
