The Board of Directors of the Palmetto Dunes Property Owners Association will have a Board Meeting on Tuesday, July 30 to discuss a proposed bylaw amendment.
If the proposed bylaw amendment(s) is approved by the Board at the July Board Meeting, the amendment(s) will be presented to the membership for their consideration along with the Election of Directors, which will be open September 1 to October 1, 2024. Results will be announced at the Annual Meeting in October.
Proposed Bylaw Amendments
The purpose of the proposed amendment(s) is to allow the Board flexibility in defining and hiring for the administrative leadership role for the Association. Also, the by-laws do not contain any reference to the Hearing Board. The board felt it was important to add the Hearing Board as a standing committee and clarify that the board can establish committees or ad hoc advisory groups.
