Queens Grant

Queens Grant has been highly active in executing a strategic plan for updating infrastructure. Three years ago, this neighborhood began a plan for updating the storm water control and management system. Palmetto Dunes entered an easement agreement with the Town of Hilton Head that created a partnership approach to addressing capital projects like storm water management. Queens Grant, PDPOA and the town, worked together for the engineering, financing and implementation of the construction for re-piping all the storm water systems. This new system is designed for a 50-year life span. The next phase of this strategic plan is to rebuild the banks of all the lagoons and ponds in Queens Grant to improve erosion control. All these improvements make the community safer and improve the quality of the lagoons.

Queens Grant also created a new common owners association to integrate and coordinate the plans of the five property owners associations within the development. This new leadership team has engaged a management company, conducted a reserve study, and contracted with a construction company for strategic infrastructure projects to be financed at 0% interest.  The Queens Grant Boards have been busy looking to the future and building a strong and vibrant community.
