Volunteers Needed: Enterprise Risk Management Plan

One of the responsibilities of a successful community is preparing not only for today’s needs, but also for the challenges and opportunities that may arise in the future. To support this effort, the Palmetto Dunes Management and Board are beginning work on developing an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Plan for our community. The purpose of this initiative is to identify key risks facing Palmetto Dunes, evaluate current safeguards, prioritize mitigation efforts, and provide the Board with a consistent framework for long-term planning and decision-making.

As part of this process, we are seeking interested property owners who have professional experience or personal interest in areas such as:

•  Business continuity and emergency preparedness
• Insurance and risk management
• Cybersecurity and technology
• Environmental science, stormwater, or natural resource management
• Legal, governance, or public policy

The ERM planning effort will examine a broad range of topics, including natural hazards and environmental risks, infrastructure and capital assets, insurance and financial exposures, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, and governance and reputational considerations.

All applicants will be contacted and provided an opportunity for further interaction with the Board Chair, prior to the final selections.
