Strategic Planning for the Community

In 2017, the Association developed a five-year strategic plan for the community. Click here for the plan.

Our community has benefited from the destination and paths identified in our current five-year strategic plan, but it is reaching the end of its projected life.  Now is the time to engage many of the different stakeholders and establish the direction for the next three to five years.  This proactive endeavor will be based on the previous strategic plan, be an open and inclusive process, and incorporate tools such as a demographic study of our existing community. A strategic plan is an invaluable asset to the community, providing critical continuity and guidance for the association board, administration, and more.

The Association invited owners in the community to apply to the 2022 Strategic Planning Team. We were pleased to have almost 60 interested and qualified owners interested in joining. Owners were chosen to represent all facets of the community and includes full-time and part-time owners, owners who rent and owners who do not rent, single-family property owners and villa owners, as well as new owners to the community and long-standing property owners. The team is chaired by Board member Becky Brumley and team members are Alice Bettencourt, Jerry Bowling, Lisa Carpenter, Terence (TJ) Casey, Derek Dalton, Paula Eardley, Daniel Ekberg, Scott Imhoff, Steve Laskowski, Charles LoPresti, Cynde Moss, Kelly Schibler, Dawn Schlich, and Andrew Schumacher.

The team kicked off the Strategic Planning process in late March and anticipate monthly work sessions through October, with the goal of presenting a new Strategic Plan to the Board in November.
