Pathway Study Report Available for Reference

At the request of the Infrastructure Committee, a previous pathway study has been posted to the website for reference. This report was compiled between 2021 and 2023 and was part of a consulting project to evaluate and make recommendations for the Palmetto Dunes pathway system.

Please note: This document is not being used for any current or future pathway design or construction. In fact, since the report was created, additional pathways have already been installed on Mooring Buoy that are not reflected in the report.

The consultant approached the project from an idealistic, “blank slate” perspective—essentially assuming no budget or physical constraints. As a result, some of the recommendations, such as widening all pathways without regard for property lines or installing street lighting from the General Store to both gates, are not practical for implementation.
