Mosquito Spraying – Keeping Our Community Comfortable & Safe

As warmer weather returns to Hilton Head Island, so does mosquito season. To help protect the health and comfort of our residents, the POA’s annual mosquito spraying program resumed in April and continues through October.

Spraying Schedule:

• Every other Tuesday night (weather permitting)
• After dark to minimize disruption and target mosquitoes during peak activity
• Spraying is conducted by a licensed contractor using EPA-approved materials, designed to effectively reduce mosquito populations and limit the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses.

You Can Help:

• Eliminate standing water around your property
• Keep gutters clean and yards maintained
• Use insect repellent when outdoors at dusk or dawn
