Green Start Program
Palmetto Dunes Property Owners Association (PDPOA) invites property owners to encourage your landscape company to join our Green Start Program for 2026. This initiative will help landscapers transition to battery-powered backpack leaf blowers and reduce noise and air pollution. Those who participate will gain exclusive benefits and recognition as a sustainability leader in our community.
The Green Energy program includes:
- Up to three Green Energy decals for landscaper vehicles which replace the standard Palmetto Dunes 2026 contractor access decal at no charge (valid through January 2027).
- Participating companies will be featured on the Palmetto Dunes website
- “No Gas-Powered Leaf Blower” placards on vehicles will help to promote the company’s green initiatives everywhere they go
What is required of your landscaper:
- Use only battery-powered backpack leaf blowers when servicing Palmetto Dunes properties.
- Display the Green Energy Decal and No Gas-Powered Leaf Blower placard on their vehicles for easy identification.
How to participate:
- Have your landscaper stop by the pass office to obtain their application and additional information.
