ARB Guidelines & Standards—Owner Open Forums
In February, the Board of Directors approved a motion directing the that the General Manager lead efforts to propose revised standards and guidelines that are shorter, written in plain language, promote aesthetic consistency while allowing for flexibility, ensure alignment with both sets of covenants, including fees, and include guidelines to allow for optional pool fences and artificial turf, in line with our community standards.
Following the initial draft and subsequent refinements by the Board, we now invite your specific feedback on the revised Standards and Guidelines.
To further engage our community, we will host three ARB Forums in November to present the proposed changes and answer your questions.
Each scheduled forum will:
- Share the Board’s direction for the comprehensive re-write of the ARB Guidelines & Standards.
- Explain how the new Guidelines & Standards, Contractor Rules, and Process Documents work together.
- Highlight major changes (including the tier chart) and how they affect owners, contractors, and project timelines.
- Demonstrate the new AI assistant (“Emily”) for faster answers to common ARB questions.
- Answer owner questions.
