Sea Lane Improvement Project

The Sea Lane Project is now underway. Sea Lane, Lee Shore, Weather Shore, and Starboard Tack will all be impacted during construction. The project involves new drainage infrastructure, grading, paving, and pathway realignment. We anticipate having the project substancially complete in April 2021. Please note that weather or other unforeseen events may affect the schedule. Click here for map of project area.

During construction, Sea Lane will be open to local traffic only. Please observe all detour signs and use Mooring Buoy and Port Tack as alternate routes to reach the back side of the community. Please remind visitors and vendors to follow all detour signs. Click here for a map of the current detour routes.

What’s going on at 7 Lee Shore? We are using 7 Lee Shore to store equipment and materials for the Sea Lane drainage project. We will also install underground infrastructure along the western property line of 7 Lee Shore to convey stormwater from Sea Lane, Lee Shore, Weather Shore and Starboard Tack to the lagoon.

We recommend not scheduling residential construction projects along Sea Lane as entering/leaving properties will be challenging at times. Should you have specific questions about the project, email projectplanner@pdpoa.org or call 843-785-1109.  We will be sending out more specifics on areas of construction and timing through Tidings emails and text alerts. Click here to sign up for Sea Lane Improvement Project alerts.
