Palmetto Dunes Cares’ volunteers have been busy planning their inaugural social fundraising event – “Eat, Drink & Be Generous.”
It will be a wonderful evening to meet your neighbors, enjoy great food and music, and help raise money for Palmetto Dunes Cares’ charitable foundation.
The event will be held on Thursday, October 24 from 6-9pm at Big Jim’s. Tickets are $35 and include a barbeque dinner with all the fixins (vegetarian option also available), soda and tea. A cash bar will be available.
In addition to great food and music, there will be a Putting Contest (5-6pm) led by Palmetto Dunes Golf Professional Doug Weaver, a Cork Pull (everyone who participates goes home with a bottle of wine!), 50/50 Raffle, and Silent Auction.

About Palmetto Dunes Cares
Established in 2018 by residents of the Palmetto Dunes Resort Community. Our targeted areas of interest for giving include health, environment, arts and culture, community development and education to help support charitable interests within the Hilton Head community. Funds raised by Palmetto Dunes Cares are awarded as grants through the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry (CFL). The CFL is a 501©(3) organization and currently manages over 300 local funds. Palmetto Dunes residents have input and involvement in the process of awarding grants.
Our goal is that a charitable fund will create a closer sense of community among our full-time residents, investment property owners, and commercial businesses. Our aim is to show that Palmetto Dunes Cares through contributions to the greater needs of our community.
