Tree Removal

Tree preservation is an integral component of our mission to strive to protect the natural environment.  Unfortunately, two significant live oak trees will need to be removed due to severe internal decay, which has resulted in them being hazardous. The Association has dedicated substantial resources over the past few years to revive and extend the life of these specific trees. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the trees have continued to decline. These trees are located in close proximity to the heavy-traveled Queens Folly corridor making their deterioration a significant concern. Considering the potential hazard, it has become necessary to remove them promptly.

The removal process will be conducted by Bartlett Tree Services. The removal is scheduled to take place 5/23 – 5/25, and the affected areas will be cordoned off or detoured during this time to ensure the safety of everyone.

We understand that trees are a cherished part of our community, and it is unfortunate to see them go. However, the safety of our residents and visitors is our top priority. This decision has been made after careful consideration and evaluation over the last few years. Our commitment to the environment and sustainability remains steadfast, and we will work diligently to select suitable replacements that will thrive and contribute positively to our landscape.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.
