Palmetto Dunes Summer Road Closure Hours + Detour Map

The temporary closure of the median crossover on Queens Folly Road at the entrance to the General Store/Alexanders will commence at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 27.   Please note that the hours for the road closure have been extended to 24 hours per day. The purpose of the closure is to improve safety and reduce congestion during our peak season, when many guests utilize the median crossover and often encounter an abundance of motor vehicles attempting to share the crossover. The hours have also been extended to prevent confusion for those that frequent the area. The median crossover is scheduled to reopen on September 4.

Please alert your guests and visitors to this change in traffic and share the provided detour map below.

The Association will post appropriate signage in and around the median crossover to direct motor vehicles to their destination and closely monitor the traffic flow in the area to document the impacts of this closure.
