HarbourFest at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina 

The 32nd year of HarbourFest returns with Shannon Tanner, Cappy the Clown, Tuesday night fireworks and family fun at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina. See the largest fireworks display on Hilton Head Island on Sunday, July 4th featuring Shannon Tanner’s special patriotic family show at 6:30 & 8 p.m. along with train rides and kids activities with Cappy the Clown from 6-9 p.m.! Our Caribbean-inspired Parrot Palooza concert is back by popular demand on Thursday nights with Shannon Tanner & the Oyster Reefers playing favorite island music and Jimmy Buffett classics.

  • Shannon Tanner Family Show: June 16 – September 3 (Mon., Tues., Wed., & Fri.) + Sunday, July 4th – two shows at 6:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m.
  • Cappy the Clown: June 16 – September 3 (Mon. – Fri.) + Labor Day Weekend (September 4 & 5) 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The Dunes House

The Dunes House is open for lunch and dinner 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (weather permitting) and features Live Music Mondays – Fridays from 5 – 8 p.m.
The Dunes House will be closed on June 13 & 26 for private events.

Cooking Demo at Alexander’s: Buttermilk & Brined Fried Chicken and Homemade BBQ Sauce

Sunday, June 13 from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Chef Charles will give you tips on how long to soak the chicken in buttermilk, a popular ingredient in Southern style fried chicken, and what spices to use for the flour. Add in a Low Country staple of a homemade mustard-based BBQ sauce and you will be ready to wow your friends and family at your next grill out. Demonstrations are $25 per person and all of the money collected will be given to the Deep Well Project helping neighbors in need for over 40 years. Lowcountry Boil Dinners at Centre Court Pavilion

Join us for a traditional all-you-can-eat Lowcountry Boil dinner with live music and yard games on Friday, June 18 & 25 and July 2 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Limited availability. Priced at $40 for adults and $25 for children. Dinner includes cornbread, collard greens, salad, mac-n-cheese, lowcountry boil and your choice of pie. There will be a cash bar available for adult beverages. Reservations are intended to be sold to families that will sit together. Sorry, there is no communal seating.
