Community Projects Update: Survey Work for Possible Alternate Ingress & Egress

Alternate Ingress & Egress: Mariner’s Community-Survey Work

The Association will continue exploring the feasibility and associated benefits and impacts of providing alternative ingress and egress access for vehicular traffic within the Mariner’s community. Homeowners in the Offshore/Swing About emergency gate area can expect to see the mobilization of our survey crew (Nandina/Sea Island) beginning on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. The survey will support the conceptual design work that will be conducted by our land planner. If you have any questions regarding this preliminary survey work, please contact our Director of Projects & Facilities, Jeff Starr, at jstarr@pdpoa.org.

Pedestrian Pathway Concreate Repairs-Queens Folly & Carnoustie

Beginning May 23, 2023, the Facility Maintenance Team will coordinate concrete repairs along the inbound Queens Folly and Carnoustie pedestrian pathways. These maintenance activities are being performed to ensure the safety of all that use the leisure pathways within Palmetto Dunes. Work areas will be blocked from pedestrian traffic. We kindly ask that bicyclists dismount from their bikes and walk around the construction zones. This repair project is projected to last until May 26, 2023. If you have any questions regarding this work, please contact our Facilities Manager, Sydney Wan, at swan@pdpoa.org.
