Hilton Special & the PD Marriott Neighbors Program 
The PDPOA has partnered with both the Hilton and the Marriott to bring you special discounts available to property owners only. Enjoy amazing specials on everything from fitness memberships to restaurant specials to discounted room rates. New Speed Limit
As you may have noticed, we have new installed speed limit signs around the Queens Folly Circle. The speed limit was recently reduced to 20 MPH out of concern for the safety of our pedestrians in that congested area. A recent traffic study in PD showed that we often have speeders reaching over 40 MPH near the circle. We ask that you take note of and heed our new signs for the safety of pedestrians, bikers, and other drivers alike.




New Price for New Mailboxes
The Palmetto Dunes POA Board of Directors met on June 18, 2010 and made the decision to bring the construction and installation of new mailboxes in-house in order to reduce costs. This benefits you, the property owner, in that it allows us to offer new mailboxes at the lower price of $125. Our new mailboxes are made of heavy duty extruded aluminum with a durable powder-coated finish. Combined with our larger mailbox post, we believe they will provide many years of service and will be much more damage resistant that our old box and post. Click here to order a new box. Seafood, Jazz & Brew Golf Event - Friday, September 17
This 9-hole golf event is presented by Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort and features golf, food, drinks, prizes, and lots of fun! Enjoy food and three drink coupons per person, special beer sampling on the golf course and more. The event is being held at the George Fazio Course in Palmetto Dunes and tee times start at 5 p.m. Cost is $49 plus tax per player and the deadline to register is September 15. Loggerheads in PD
It has been a record year for sea turtle nests on the island. In an effort to help these gentle creatures, the PDPOA has adopted 2 Loggerhead Sea Turtle nests right here on the beaches of Palmetto Dunes! We'll be sure to you let you know when the hatchlings are born. We want to thank all of our residents and guests for abiding by our "Lights Out for Turtles" policy.

Proxy Cards
Keep an eye for the September issue of the Perspective. It should be arriving in your mailbox any day now and will contain a proxy card insert. We ask that you please return your proxy card if you have yet to do so. This year's Annual Meeting will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the Marriott Resort & Spa in Palmetto Dunes. A complete agenda for the meeting is in the Perspective.
