Palmetto Dunes Club is a private club with special privileges for Palmetto Dunes property owners, their families and friends.  The club is open for activities everyday except Mondays.  Monthly activities are posted on the PD Club calendar PD Club Calendar.  To take  a picture tour of the club, click here.

Club Activities:

Social:  Come meet your friends and enjoy cocktails and delicious food prepared by our own Chef John.

• Lunch is served daily except Mondays.  You can order from the menu or choose from daily specials prepared by Chef John, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.  Click Here to See Menu
• T.G.I.F. is scheduled most Fridays when there is not another club event.  Members get together for cocktails and gather before heading out to dinner.
• Enjoy major sports venues on our wide screen TV.  Cocktails and snacks are available.
• Chef John prepares a wonderful dinner at least twice a month.  Additional events are scheduled to celebrate holidays like Christmas, New Years, Mardi Gras, etc.  Top local entertainers lend a special atmosphere to several parties each year.

Golf:  Enjoy special privileges on two beautiful championship golf courses which wind through the Palmetto Dunes Resort:  the Robert Trent Jones Course in the Mariner section of the resort, where the 10th green brushes the ocean, and the challenging George Fazio Course in the Inverness section, which has been ranked as one of the top courses in the country.  Benefits of membership include special rates on both courses as well as the availability of our outstanding golf professionals. 

• Men's leagues play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
• Women's 18 and 9 hole leagues play on Tuesday with additional play on Thursday and Saturday.
• A minimum of two golf events are scheduled each month. Both are mixed ladies/men's foursomes.  Twilight golf is a nine hole event. Social golf is an 18 hole event
• Tournaments, Member/Pro Games and Member/Guests games are scheduled throughout the year. 
• Members can easily organize their own foursomes and schedule a tee time.

Private Parties:  The club is available for private parties, wedding receptions, business meetings and other group events with hor d'ouerves, dinner and cocktails prepared and served by the club's professional staff.

Card Games:  Bridge is the game unless its Anything But Bridge Night.

• Card Night is scheduled on the first Wednesday evening of the month.  Contract bridge is the game.
• Couples Duplicate Bridge is played the last Tuesday evening of every month.  Ed and Carol Kerr are the contacts.
• Ladies' Social Bridge games are held every Wednesday morning.
• Ladies Duplicate Bridge is held every Friday morning.

Tennis Privileges:  Palmetto Dunes Club members can purchase a discounted tennis membership which affords special privileges at the world-famous Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center.  The Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center is ranked in the top 50 resort tennis centers, according to Tennis magazine, and renowned for its professional teaching staff.  The tennis membership offers:

• Special court fees and pro shop discounts.
• Scheduling privileges and limited complimentary guest court time.
• Reduced rates on leagues, clinics, stringing and tokens for night play. 
• Free racquet rental and ball machine use.

Kayaking:  Members may store their boats and equipment at the club and kayak or canoe on Palmetto Dunes beautiful 11 mile lagoon.

Other Events:  Fun and Game Nights are scheduled around activities like Trivia, Treasure Hunts, Bingo and anything else our talented members come up with.  There is usually a Game Night scheduled each month.
